Local Lib Dem councillor Stephen Fenton is pursuing a number of problems affecting the area near the Askham Bar roundabout near Tesco.
Flyposting has been an issue around the ward of late, including a banner advertising a wedding fair at York racecourse which took place last month. Stephen has asked the organisers to remove the banner, which they have promised to do ASAP.

Leaf fall at this time of year is inevitable, but can cause hazards for pedestrians and cyclists. Stephen has asked for the cycle track linking Moor Lane with the old Park & Ride car park to be swept, as it is becoming hazardous with wet leaves being compacted and forming a slippery surface.

There is good news further up Tadcaster Road however, where the felled street sign on Slingsby Grove has been replaced.
