Local Lib Dem councillors have arranged for a dog waste bin to be installed on Bracken Road at the entrance to Knavesmire Wood.

Residents had raised concerns about dog fouling in the wood, and it is hoped that the bin will encourage a small minority of irresponsible dog owners to bag and bin their dog’s waste.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The bin had previously been located on Little Hob Moor at the entrance to the railway underpass, but was no longer needed there as a dual use litter / dog waste bin has been installed there.
