Local Lib Dem councillors have welcomed further steps to improve the area in front of the shops on Moorcroft Road.

Thanks to funding from the Dringhouses & Woodthorpe ward committee, a raised bed has been installed by Brunswick Organic Nursery, based at Bishopthorpe. The bed will be looked after by local volunteers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The ward committee is also paying for the perspex in the community noticeboard to be replaced, as it is quite badly scuffed and scratched which make it difficult to read notices. The frame could also do with a lick of paint.
