Energise have set up a Gymnastics Club and it starts Monday 4th November!

The following sessions are now available (please note places are limited):
Mon 1.30pm – 2.15pm Parent / guardian and Child 2.5yrs-4yrs
Mon 2.15pm – 3.00pm, 4 yrs – 5yrs
Mon 3.30pm – 4.15pm , 4yrs – 6yrs
Mon 4.15pm – 5.00pm , 7yrs – 11yrs
Mon 5.00pm – 5.45pm, 11yrs+

Sky Ride local in York this weekend at York Sport village

Sky ride

A series of inclusive Sky Ride Local rides will be taking place in York thanks to a partnership between British Cycling and Sky.

Rides will take place on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 October from 3pm until 5pm on the 1km purpose built cycling track at the York Sport Village on Hull Road

Get Cycling will have a fleet of adapted bikes for people to test out so everyone can take part.

Children aged 8 and above and adults can ride their own bikes, or use one of the adapted bikes.

Children aged under 8 are welcome to use tow bikes, trailers and frame seats. All riders are required to wear a helmet.

A costumed, hands-on talk on the fashion and equipment of a 17th century soldier, by Battlefield historian and English Civil War musketeer Russell Marwood

Local Battlefield Historian and English Civil War musketeer Russell Marwood will give a costumed, hands-on talk on the fashion of a 17th century soldier as well as a run-down on the equipment he would have taken to war and how it all worked. Also told will be the story of Yorkshire during 1644, a momentous year which saw the Siege of York and the Battle of Marston Moor. Pre-booking advised.
