Police officers searching for missing woman Sheila Sykes, have located a body.

It was found close to Hagg Wood, Dunnington, just before 5pm on Sunday 3 March 2013.
Sheila has not been seen since Friday 1 March 2013.
Mrs Syke’s next of kin have been informed of the discovery.
Police say, “We are not yet in a position to formally identify the body
The search for Sheila has been stood down.
The family have asked for their privacy to be respected at this difficult time”.
