With the central library now closed until the autumn for refurbishing, the opening hours of the Acomb Branch have been extended.
Acomb will in future open additionally on Wednesdays and Sundays
Some other libraries have also extended their hours
- Acomb Explore – Wednesdays 9am to 5pm, Saturday opening will be extended to 4pm, Sundays 11am to 3pm
- Haxby Explore – Thursdays 9am to 6pm
- Tang Hall Explore – Wednesday opening will be extended to 5.30pm
